THIS GUY!!Okay really his birthday isn't until Wednesday, but we celebrated with the family today. I was worried that he wasn't going to enjoy his cake, but as you can see from the picture that wasn't an issue. He LOVED the icing. It got just about everywhere, and he went straight from his booster seat to the tub. All-in-all it was a great day, and Justus had a lot of fun.
This weekend has been a pretty busy one. Friday night we had our Sunday school Christmas party and white elephant gift exchange. We had a lot of people there, and it was a lot of fun! Today was filled with last minute birthday/Christmas shopping, and getting ready for Justus' party. The good thing is Justus had stayed with his grandparents the night before, so it made things a lot easier. After the party Jon's sister Sarah watched the boys while we went out to eat in celebration of my birthday. Tomorrow is church, and then time to relax!
I have now figured out a little trick to Justus' eating. If I will let him walk around while eating, I can get him to eat just about anything. He even ate green beans, which he has never liked. I'm not a huge fan of letting him walk around and eat, but I'm hoping if he gets used to the taste of things he will let me feed him in his seat. So far it's not working, but we'll see what happens.
Matthias is doing great! He is going 4 hours between feedings, and we are hoping that he starts skipping a feeding soon. I'm not sure that is going to happen, but it will be nice when he does. He is definitely starting to change a lot already. I don't think he looks like a newborn any longer. I can't believe is 1 1/2 months old already!!
