We have had a busy weekend. We traveled home to Mt. Vernon for my 10 year high school reunion. It was pretty fun, but made me feel old. We also spent quite a bit of time working on those last couple of projects around the house...most having to do with our old windows. We had talked about getting new ones, but we are going to wait to see what happens over the next few weeks before making the final decision.
Last week Matthias had his 9 month check-up. No shots this time, so that was a relief for both of us. He is now 28 1/2 inches long and 20 lbs. 11 oz. I forgot to ask the percentiles, so I don't know if he is big, small, or average. He is really close to pulling himself up, and has done it a couple of times, but I don't think he realizes that's what he is doing. He is also clapping now, which is super cute! He is getting so big!! His next appointment is his 1 year! I can't believe he is almost a year old already....just a 2 1/2 months away!
Justus is doing good. He now says "thank you"...usually in the right context. He says it when we give him things and sometimes when he hands us something to hold for him. It seems like at least once or twice a week we pick up on a new word he is saying. His big thing right now is saying "uh oh" all the time. He even creates situations where he can use it....like tipping something over or dropping something on purpose. Justus turns 20 months next week. Time sure is flying.
All-in-all things are going great! Hope you enjoy the pictures!!
Justus wanted to be put in Matthias' crib to play.
